POSITION OVERVIEW Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to all guests clearing and setting up tables. Clean and set up tables in the outlet and perform other food service-related duties, including food running as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Greet all guests according to FORBES and Ranch LB standards. • Ensure all stations and table set-ups are complete prior to and after meal service. • Assist servers with delivering drinks and refilling drinks during meal service. • Assist servers with marking the tables with proper silverware and dishes. • Remove plates and glassware from table upon meal completion. • Perform various side duties as assigned by the Restaurant Managers and Supervisors. • Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties. • Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment. • Provide professional and friendly service according to FORBES and the Ranch at Laguna Beach standards to ensure positive experience for all guests and team members. • Assist with food running as needed. NOTE: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Other related duties may be assigned as required in addition to the principle duties outlined above. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS In addition, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of The Ranch: • Fold napkins for meal periods to maintain an adequate supply. • Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.
