NDI Technician II

ITnova is seeking a skilled NDI Technician II (N on-Destructive Inspection) to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. This position is responsible for performing nondestructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of aircraft structures, components, and related systems to identify discrepancies and support safe, reliable aircraft operations. The ideal candidate has experience with approved NDI inspection methods, a strong understanding of technical publications and quality assurance requirements, and the ability to accurately interpret and document inspection results. This role plays a critical part in supporting aircraft safety, maintenance decisions, and mission readiness in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Performs nondestructive inspection (NDI/NDT) of aircraft structures, components, and related items using approved methods and procedures.
• Conducts inspections using authorized techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, eddy current, or other approved methods, as qualified.
• Interprets inspection results and documents findings in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements and applicable technical publications.
• Ensures compliance with CNAFINST 4790.2, NAMP, and applicable technical data related to nondestructive inspection.
