When you succeed, we all succeed. Position Summary We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Church Street Inn . In this role, you’ll take the lead on a variety of maintenance projects — ensuring the safety, functionality, and beauty of our property. From troubleshooting technical issues to performing preventative maintenance, you’ll help us deliver the high-quality guest experience that defines Charleston hospitality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest units, buildings, and common areas Safely and effectively use hand and power tools for a wide range of maintenance tasks Diagnose and repair issues in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Install, service, and repair appliances with minimal supervision Conduct preventative maintenance to keep equipment and facilities in top condition Inspect rooms and resort areas to identify potential problems before they affect guests Address safety hazards immediately and report issues to management Prioritize and complete daily assignments efficiently, communicating progress with the front desk and maintenance team Maintain the overall appearance of the property by cleaning, organizing, and performing light upkeep tasks Additional Responsibilities Assist with groundskeeping, painting, and exterior maintenance projects Power wash exterior areas and walkways as needed Prepare and secure property during severe weather events Assist guests with special maintenance needs to enhance their stay Collect and dispose of trash and debris as required
