Nou Zenfan Bois Marchand is looking for a dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team and contribute to the holistic development of children aged 3 to 5 years through a child-centered, play-based approach. The candidate will ensure that each child thrives in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Key Responsibilities • Implement the National Curriculum Framework for Pre-Primary Education through structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate daily learning activities. • Support the development of early literacy and numeracy skills through age-appropriate strategies adapted to each child’s learning pace and needs. • Promote the development of essential pre-writing skills, including correct posture, appropriate pencil grip, and fine motor coordination. • Create and maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports children’s holistic development. • Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress, adjusting teaching strategies as required to support individual learning outcomes. • Collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers to promote children’s learning, wellbeing, and holistic development. • Design and facilitate age-appropriate pedagogical activities and self-development games during school holidays to encourage continued learning and engagement beyond the classroom. • Participate in continuous professional development and ensure compliance with applicable ECCEA guidelines and standards. Requirements • Cambridge School Certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification. • Early Childhood Education Teacher Certificate (ECETC) or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage. • Experience of at least 3 years in the field of early childhood education. • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and child-centred learning approaches. • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support individual learning needs. • Ability to teach foundational numeracy and literacy skills in an engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate manner. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and caregivers. • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice. • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
