CCBHC Certified Recovery Support Specialist

The Peer Mentor/Recovery Support Specialist uses their personal lived experience with recovery from mental health or substance use challenges to provide non-clinical, peer-led support. As a key member of the CCBHC multidisciplinary team, this role helps clients and family members navigate complex care systems, build resilience, and achieve self-directed recovery goals. The Peer Mentor/Recovery Support Specialist is an integral member of the behavioral health multi-disciplinary team model. The Peer/RSS has successfully navigated the mental health system personally or on behalf of a family member.
