School Social Worker DVS

Specific duties and responsibilities: Supervises interns or other team members as directed by Supervisor of Curriculum Participates in staffing and program development Participates in planning/conducting professional workshops/teacher in-service training Contacts families/local school districts/DCP&P/IAIU or other agencies as needed Collaborates with school personnel on cases of suspected child abuse & makes reports to DCP&P Facilitates IEP meetings Reviews all files for perspective students and documents recommendations Attends meetings with parents/teachers Serves as a CST member Attends yearly Primary Restraint Technique (PRT) training. Responsible for any miscellaneous duties as assigned. Participates in PIP for improved job performance Facilitates IEP meetings Reviews all files for perspective students and documents recommendations
