Area Production Manager

Job Responsibilities: • Manage assigned workforce to ensure that product is produced in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner. • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and proper training • Continually work with assigned departments to reduce requested warranty rates • Interface with branch personnel to verify branch requirements are being met. • Initiate plans and processes which minimize remanufacturing costs • Drive a continuous focus on safety, environmental and OSHA requirements. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required, and/or demonstrated equivalent experience of at least 15 years, 3 of which in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • 2 years supervisory experience with strong leadership skills • Experience in the areas of process and quality improvement • Experience in fabrication and machining disciplines preferred • Must have strong planning abilities and analytical and problem-solving skills D&W Diesel, Inc. is an employee owned, $125 million business with over 350 employees in 8 locations.
