About the role
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our mobile team and help shape the quality strategy for Eurowag Navigation , available on Google Play. This application is part of the Eurowag digital platform for trucking companies and supports drivers, dispatchers, and fleet administrators with services such as fuel payments, navigation, and dispatcher communication. As part of the mobile team, you will work closely with frontend developers, backend engineers, designers, and product owners in an agile environment. Beyond executing tests, you will define testing standards, establish automation frameworks, and drive continuous improvement of our quality engineering practices. We are looking for colleagues in Brno and Bratislava . Requirements Experience in QA automation testing for mobile, backend, or web applications Strong understanding of software testing principles, test strategy, and quality assurance processes Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, Selenium, Playwright, Browser Stack or similar Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar) Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution Understanding of Agile / Scrum development processes Ability to participate in technical discussions about quality, architecture, scalability, and maintainability Responsibilities • Define and maintain the overall test automation strategy for the mobile application and related backend services • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, regression, and smoke testing • Work closely with developers to ensure quality is embedded into the development lifecycle • Establish testing standards, best practices, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with backend engineers on API quality validation and integration testing • Execute exploratory, regression, and release testing where needed • Investigate, troubleshoot, and report defects with clear root cause analysis • Monitor product quality metrics such as defect leakage, flaky tests, automation coverage, and release readiness • Participate in agile ceremonies, refinements, and solutioning sessions • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tooling, and overall engineering quality culture • Support the long-term evolution of QA practices across the mobile team Benefits Minimum salary for this position is 2200 EUR gross, final salary depends on the candidate's seniority and experience.
