Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing brand in Tanzania’s hospitality and nightlife industry, is seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead operations at one of its premier clubs, bars, and restaurants. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality expert with a strong background in nightlife, dining, and customer experience, who thrives in energetic environments and has a sharp business mindset. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of operational excellence, team leadership, financial acumen, and creative marketing flair to drive business growth and elevate the guest experience. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Develop and implement marketing strategies that boost brand visibility and drive sales. Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the venue. Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of a high-performing team. Plan and coordinate engaging events and promotions to attract and retain clientele. Ensure strict compliance with hospitality industry laws and safety regulations. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in bar, club, or restaurant management. Demonstrated ability in team leadership, sales, and financial management. Proven track record in business development and marketing. Experience in planning and executing events to boost guest engagement and brand appeal. Familiarity with Tanzanian hospitality laws and regulations (preferred). Strong interpersonal, organisational, and decision-making skills.
