About the role

Overview SCCI is seeking a motivated System Trainer to join our team! In this position you will provide Instructor-led training, curriculum development, and technical documentation inputs/editing for a fast-paced developmental Weapon System Program. A key to this position is the ability to develop and provide system training from end-to-end, including the creation of technical documentation and instructional materials, as well as the in-person classroom and platform based instruction. A successful candidate brings a highly technical ability to learn complex systems and communicate them in an effective manner. Travel for training events is required (approximately 20%, with surges up to 50% several months each year). Candidate may also have the opportunity to participate in Flight or Shipboard Training and Test events. This position is located Dahlgren, VA . Responsibilities: Support specific test objectives, data analysis, future capabilities and weapons integration Develop Curricula, Lesson Plans, and Courseware for Operators on a variety of platform Develop, format, and revise user documentation including Software Users Guides, Training Curriculum, Quick Reference Guides, and Troubleshooting Procedures Conduct training for operators, trainers, and engineers Format, revise, and provide quality assurance on system engineering documents including Interface Control Documents, Interface Definition Documents, System Specification Documents and Specification Change Notices Work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineers to review existing documentation and identify discrepancies Maintain an in-depth understanding of the systems requirements, functions, and behaviors
