Certified Medical Assistant - Columbia Family Medicine

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or equivalent, required • Graduation certificate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program, required • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, required • Prior CMA experience, preferred • CPR certification, preferred QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information • Composure in fast paced, high pressure environments • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies • Dependable, punctual, and highly detail oriented • Strong multitasking and independent work capabilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Accurate documentation skills • Ability to follow established workflows consistently WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
