About the role
The San Francisco School (SFS) is set to embark on a 3-year comprehensive campaign with a working goal of raising $5 million for the School’s endowment and to deepen the School’s STEAM curriculum. Over the course of the campaign, SFS will cultivate and solicit more than 300 prospects through visits, outreach, and communication in order to achieve its campaign goal. As such, SFS seeks a part-time Campaign Manager to execute campaign operations. Campaign Manager Responsibilities: The Campaign Manager will work closely with the Director of Advancement and the Head of School to carry out the operational and administrative tasks of the campaign. They will also work closely with and support campaign ambassadors, campaign steering committee members, and board members to ensure a seamless donor development process throughout the various stages of the campaign. Following are the responsibilities for the role and position: Independently manage projects from strategy to on-time completion, exercising independent judgment and anticipate the needs of School leadership and volunteers as they relate to the work of the Campaign Maintain prospect management system to track movement within the phases of the major gift cycle Conduct prospect research and prepare prospect profiles, managing highly confidential data to effectively identify the pipeline for each phase of the Campaign Prepare and present confidential Board and campaign steering committee reports Schedule meetings, cultivation opportunities, and solicitations Attend campaign planning meetings Ensure follow-up communications and sending requested materials to prospective donors after every visit Oversee gift acknowledgment process to ensure personal, timely, and appropriate recognition Track and manage meticulously all campaign donor and gift data, pledge documentation, acknowledgments in collaboration with the Database Manager Plan campaign cultivation and stewardship events in collaboration with the Director of Advancement Manage donor recognition confirmation and oversee physical recognition at the end of the campaign including donor walls, named spaces, and donor reports
