About the role

Description: As the Lodging Attendant Supervisor you will play an integral role in the success of the housekeeping department as you will be assisting the day-to-day operations of the division, administrative functions, providing training, support and encouragement for all team members! Essential Functions: • Supervise and co-ordinate the work of the Lodging Attendants & Quality Checkers • Develop & deliver a quality focused training program for Room Attendants & Quality Checkers with regular follow-up and feedback. • Review of stat sheets and approval of incentives. • Ensure quality standards & timelines are communicated effectively and followed. • Prepare for & participate in the delivery of the departments daily morning meetings. • Delivering daily one-on-one coaching • Assist Room Attendants, Quality Checkers in performing duties when required, spending time in the field checking and cleaning to ensure you are current with operational practices. • Recognize, document and discuss with employee when “corrective action” is required in a timely manner. • Develop and train staff in Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department • Assist with recognition planning and implementation. • Deal directly with resort guest when room issues arise in a professional and positive manner. Experience/Requirements: • Completion of High school diploma or equivalent • Previous cleaning experience within a resort setting • Previous supervisory experience • Good oral skills • Problem solving & decision making skills • Microsoft office experience required • Must be highly motivated and lead with proven strength. • Able to multi-task, work well under stress and meet targeted deadlines. • Must be able to work independently and in teams. • Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays. • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to sit, stand; walk; climb stairs; use hands to finger, reach; stoop, kneel, and bend
