JOB SUMMARY : Melissa Memorial Hospital is looking for someone to join our team as a Multi Modality Technologist. The ideal candidate provides high quality imaging procedures to our patients, consistent with the quality and expectations required of all Radiology Technologists. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Performs and/or assists with ordered Radiographic, CT, and C-Arm procedures while ensuring quality exams while utilizing ALARA. Performance of these exams is to be done in a way to provide/maintain proper documentation, safety and dignity of all patients. Employee will be in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays. Employee may be asked to fill in day shift if needed. Weekend call is Friday 5pm to Monday 7:30am. Day Shift 7am to 5:30pm. Employee will take call as required (X-Ray and CT) with maximum 20 minute response time (10 minutes for stroke alert.) Digital Fixed Xray - Siemens Digital Portable - Siemens 64 slice CT - Siemens GE OEC C-Arm 1.5T MRI - GE Must be registered and have current ARRT(R)(CT) as well as BLS Will be performing Xrays, CTs, and be in on-call rotation If working day shift, must be willing to complete all clerical work including but not limited to scheduling of patients, faxing results, scanning, completing exams in PACS, and enter orders in EMR. Initiate and maintain intravenous (IV) lines, demonstrating proficiency in IV insertion techniques. Will utilize C-arm fluoroscopy for pain management injections and intraoperative imaging Evaluate images for technical quality Completes “Screening Consent” forms on every patient for CT and MR *In addition to the responsibilities described above, the role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned on occasion, based upon MMH needs or requirements.
