Position Details: Salary Range: Starting at $16 per hour plus benefits for full time employees Shifts Available: Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm or 7:30am to 3:30pm Location: St. Augustine, FL (St. Johns County) Responsible to: ADT Supervisor Positions Supervised : None Specific Duties: Ensures the agency safety procedures are adhered to by program participants and staff. Advises ADT Supervisor of any problems. Understand and practice the Participant Bill of Rights and the Principle of Normalization when working with or advocating for program participants. Responsible for the welfare and safety of all program participants. Implements program participants skill acquisition and Behavior Management Programs as scheduled. Provides program participants with skill acquisition and other formal and informal programming. Work in teams to accomplish goals and assist individuals in classroom/ setting and schedule. Maintains data documentation for skill acquisition and other programs as scheduled. Assist with completion of assessments of all program participants skills as assigned. Assists with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation of program participants achievements as assigned. Assist with lesson planning, as needed, to provide meaningful day activities to individuals. Collaborate with team and ADT Supervisor to problem solve participant changes, problems, or needs. Completes and submits incident reports in a timely manner to ADT Supervisor, communicates issues. Assists program participants with dispensing medication, after training/certification, and completes appropriate documentation. Attends scheduled staff meetings. Follows procedure for logging into PAYCOM to complete time sheets, vacation, and sick requests. Assists in emergency situations and ensures all required documentation is completed. Using approved Behavioral Practices and Safety Care, maintains challenging behaviors.
