Barge Readiness Mechanic (Liquid Tank Barges)

American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) is looking for a Barge Readiness Mechanic who will play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of our barges, contributing to the smooth flow of goods along our waterways. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring the readiness and safety of our barge fleet. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the barge fleet with focusing on improving equipment reliability & preventing dock rejections. Conducts inspections, evaluations, and repairs to equipment and hulls within regulation to TBSIP program. Ensures compliance with customer needs, company policy, and government regulations.
