We are currently seeking a Production Labourer to join our Mat Plant Operations team. In this role, you will support the production of access mats in a manufacturing environment, helping ensure quality products while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient worksite. Responsibilities Production & Execution • Keep up with the production line to meet operational targets • Complete finishing tasks accurately and in a timely manner • Perform general labour duties related to mat production Safety & Worksite Maintenance • Work with the supervisor to maintain an orderly and safe worksite • Follow all company safety policies and procedures • Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas Equipment Operation • Operate power tools and production equipment safely and efficiently • Support basic equipment upkeep and report issues as required Experience • Previous physical labour experience required • Lumber or manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset • Experience operating power tools and equipment preferred • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and schedule Other Skills and Abilities • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety • High attention to detail and quality of work • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers and supervisors • Basic understanding of conflict resolution and employee relations practices is considered an asset Licence / Certification / Education • Grade 12 education preferred What We Offer • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications • Comprehensive employer-paid benefits package • Health Care Spending Account • Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP) • Employee Stock Purchase Plan and Profit Sharing • Registered Savings Plan (RSP) matching • Full-time, long-term employment opportunity (no contractors) • Company-provided equipment and tools required for the role • Equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to safety • Drug and alcohol-free workplace At Northern Mat & Bridge, we value diversity, teamwork, and respect.
