Stroke Director

WHMC is currently searching for Neurology Attending Physician/ Stroke Program Director to join our multi-disciplinary program at the medical center. The ideal candidate should be capable of both General Neurology and Stroke as the hospital is a Primary Stroke Center. Responsibilities include providing leadership in ongoing initiatives of the Stroke Program, maintaining Stroke Center Certification status, and ensuring quality, evidence-based stroke care. The Stroke Director will also engage in direct patient care, responding to acute stroke alerts, and providing general neurology inpatient consultation services as well as out-patient care. Opportunities for teaching and supervision of colleagues, internal medicine residents, mid-level providers, and medical students exist as well.
