About the role

Summary/Purpose of the Position: The TestEquity Environmental Chamber Engineer designs, operates, maintains, and tests specialized equipment that simulates extreme environmental conditions like temperature, humidity. Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities: System Design: Develop, modify, and optimize refrigeration, heating, electrical, and control systems for TEQ environmental test chambers. Maintenance & Calibration: Support our OEM manufacturers by performing routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical failures, and calibrate sensors to ensure testing accuracy. Test Execution: Program and run profiles on (e.g., thermal cycling, steady-state humidity) according to international standards. Data Analysis: Monitor chamber performance, compile test data, and draft technical evaluation reports for our OEM manufacturers. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all equipment complies with occupational safety standards, pressure vessel regulations, and environmental laws regarding refrigerants.
