Building Services - Marshall Health

This position is for 2 part-time, with benefits (approximately 20 hours per week) and 1 full-time position. Job Responsibilities: • Operates various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc. • Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings • Disposes of trash, waste, and other disposable materials. • Handles various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc. • Dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc. • Empties trash containers daily. • Wet mops floors in all patient and staff rooms daily. Damp mop all corridor floors, lobby, and others daily • Cleans wash basins, mirrors, and commodes daily. • Reports any needed repairs immediately to manager. • Washes windows as scheduled. • Strips and recoats all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled. • Completes all other duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Knowledge of custodial methods and procedures preferred.
