Position: Mechanical Assembler - UAV Systems Integration Department: Assembly Location: IIT KANPUR/ GREATER NOIDA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role Join our assembly team to build cutting-edge Large UAV systems. You will integrate mechanical subsystems, install flight controls, landing gear, and other critical components while ensuring the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities · Assemble UAV airframes, wings, and structural components according to engineering drawings · Install and integrate landing gear systems, actuators, and control surfaces · Mount sensors, antennas, and mechanical hardware with precise alignment · Perform torque specifications and safety wire installation · Conduct functional tests of mechanical systems and assemblies · Collaborate with electrical technicians for systems integration · Maintain detailed assembly records and work order documentation Requirements Required Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent · 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (aerospace/automotive preferred) · Experience with precision hand tools, torque wrenches, and assembly fixtures · Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions · Knowledge of mechanical fasteners, safety wire, and aerospace hardware · Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications · Experience with aircraft or UAV assembly operations · Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems · Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements · IPC certification for mechanical assembly Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience + benefits
