About the role
The Pharmacy Inventory officer/Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service, as well as taking stock. The role involves handling cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate transaction records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities Process cash, card, transfer, and other payment transactions accurately while issuing receipts to customers. Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Assist customers with inquiries, direct them appropriately, and provide courteous and professional service at all times. Maintain accurate records of daily sales, report discrepancies promptly, and support routine financial reconciliations. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies while supporting other front desk and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field from a recognized institution. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an Inventory officer, preferably in a pharmacy, healthcare, or hospital environment. Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and basic computer applications. Strong numerical, communication, and customer service skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Honest, reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. MUST reside in or close to Ikeja, No accommodation is provided.
