Java Full Stack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to modernize complex legacy systems by translating established mainframe technologies into scalable, modern Java solutions. You’ll play a key role in pre-production development, supporting software modernization within a microservices architecture. The position combines deep Java development with full-stack engineering, system integration, database modernization, and cloud-native capabilities. You’ll work with legacy technologies including COBOL, ASM, JCL, and Copybooks while helping transition functionality to contemporary platforms. The role also involves leveraging AI/ML-enabled development approaches, CI/CD practices, and modern API and application architectures. You’ll collaborate across development, testing, integration, and modernization activities in a highly complex technology environment. This is a remote full-time opportunity with occasional travel to Columbus, Ohio, and is contingent upon contract award.
