A Team Member will train in various positions in Front of House and Back of House and have the ability to fill in at any position. After training, your manager will place you in a more defined position that best suits your skills and abilities as well as the needs of the restaurant. Position Descriptions: Expo : Expo, short for expediter, is the heart of the restaurant. It is from this station that every order is prepared and sent to the Guest. The expo Team Members are peer leaders so in addition to the required skills, they must also possess skills and abilities necessary to effectively lead others. Cook: Our great tasting food begins with the cook. This position is critical to our success and requires specific skills from the Team Member. Cashier: The cashier/runner serves as the face of Slim Chickens. They make that critical first and last impression with the Guests. They are the ones that must create the welcoming atmosphere that Guests will associate with Slim Chickens. Drive Thru: Similar to the cashier/runner, drive thru Team Members also deal directly with the Guest providing great Guest service in a drive thru environment can be challenging so this position is usually given to front of the house Team Members who have excelled in their current position.
