This position is currently a 2nd shift position (2pm-10pm, 5 day 8hrs) that will soon be changing to (6pm-6am, 2/2/3 schedule e/o weekend). Responsibilities: • Read and interpret written work orders, machining sheets and templates. Perform operations as required by these work orders and machining sheets to configure the doors. • Notify Shop Supervisor of any discrepancies or defects. • Demonstrate competence and working knowledge of each machine that you have been trained and certified to operate. • Operate machines in a safe and efficient manner and perform periodic maintenance. Notify Shop Supervisor of any equipment problems or safety concerns. • Perform assignments in the most efficient manner to maximize production and not jeopardize safety. • Have a working knowledge of, and follow, all appropriate quality control guidelines. • Notify Shop Supervisor when coming in late or leaving early. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Notify Shop Supervisor upon completion of daily work orders. Shop Supervisor may assign you to another task or ask you to begin working on the next day’s orders.
