About the role

About the opportunity:

The Global People Operations team, classically known as HR, strives to create and deliver the best possible and seamless employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading with care and empathy, we strive to develop efficient and simple people processes and systems to focus on the things that matter the most: Our people at N26.

This means you’ll not only be supported by a dedicated and passionate team, but also HR tools, such as the People Operation ticketing system to ensure nothing slips through the cracks, but there’s even more we’d love to do (which is where you come in)!

This role is based in Berlin, it's a hybrid role (minimum 3 days per week in-office), and 1 year fixed term contract.

In This Role, You Will:

• Be responsible for the People Operations day-to-day operations throughout the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, within our European Countries

• Manage requests via our ticketing system (Jira) with a high focus on defined SLA’s and employee experience (e.g. employment contracts, leaves, absence, amendments, offboarding…).

• Within Workday, our HRIS, you will look after all processes and requests with high focus on data accuracy and data quality.

• Proactively seek process improvement opportunities and efficiency enhancements.

• Support compliance matters, from internal audits to process quality assurance.

• Work closely with the People Technology team to manage the workflows and automation of our internal systems.

• Work closely with our external and internal stakeholders (People Ops, Payroll, People Tech, People Business Partner (‘PBP’) team, Talent Acquisition, Employee Resource Groups, Finance, Workplace and external providers) to ensure accurate data exchange and effective operations management.

• Take on independent tasks in various exciting internal projects, such as process automation and data quality.

What You Need To Be Successful:

• 2+ years minimum of hands-on HR work experience.

• Extensive knowledge of full employee lifecycle (employment contracts, onboarding, leaves of absence, off-boarding…) ideally in the German market.

• Excellent English and ideally German written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Must be diligent and persistent in follow-up and completion.

• Ability to work and build partnerships across departments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as Google docs/sheets.

• Experience working with HRIS (Workday) and ticketing systems is a big plus.

• Be based in Berlin or willing to relocate.

• We support N26ers who are based in the office so this role will mostly be based in the office but there is some flexibility for occasional hybrid working.

What’s in it for you:

  • Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe’s most talked about disruptors 🚀.
  • Employee benefits that range from a competitive personal development budget, work from home budget, discounts to fitness & wellness memberships, language apps and public transportation.
  • As an N26 employee you will have access to a Premium subscription on your personal N26 bank account. As well as subscriptions for friends and family members.
  • Additional day of annual leave for each year of service.
  • A high degree of autonomy and access to cutting edge technologies - all while working with a friendly team of peers of diverse nationalities, experiences, and backgrounds.
  • A relocation package with visa support for those who need it.
