Position Summary:

As a direct extension of the General Manager, you will be embedded at the heart of the France & Benelux cluster and exposed to the full spectrum of a rare disease affiliate's activities. This internship is designed for a high-potential candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical strategy, market access, and cross-functional operations in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

You will work closely with the GM and interact with commercial, medical, and market access teams across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Work Model:

Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the GM in developing and tracking the cluster's strategic priorities and annual operating plan
  • Monitor KPIs and commercial performance dashboards; synthesize insights for leadership reviews
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and briefing documents for internal and regional stakeholders
  • Contribute to competitive intelligence and market landscape analysis across the cluster's therapeutic areas
  • Support market access activities including HAS/CEPS dossier tracking and reimbursement milestones in France
  • Monitor Belgian and Dutch pricing & reimbursement developments (INAMI/NIHDI, ZIN/RIZIV) and assess cross-border implications
  • Analyze rare disease policy developments and assess their impact on Ultragenyx's portfolio and pipeline
  • Liaise with market access teams to support named patient programs and early access frameworks (ATU/AAP, compassionate use)
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access teams
