Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join its existing team. Key Responsibilities: ▪ Organize and manage the department’s supply, stock, and product display. ▪ Check product quality, freshness, and ensure FIFO/FEFO and traceability compliance. ▪ Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and attractive merchandising standards. ▪ Place orders efficiently within set purchase periods and follow commercial guidelines. ▪ Ensure price accuracy, label updates, and proper promotional displays. ▪ Guarantee food safety and compliance with the Food Act and company standards. ▪ Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and workplace safety. ▪ Monitor and control stock levels, shrinkage, and wastage. ▪ Manage ERP (Meti) system for stock tracking and performance monitoring. ▪ Supervise cold rooms and ensure correct temperatures and storage procedures. ▪ Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs and feedback. ▪ Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations. ▪ Lead by example in maintaining operational excellence and teamwork. Job Requirements: ▪ Form 1 or any other equivalent qualifications ▪ IT Literate with a good understanding of ERP software as an advantage ▪ Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage ▪ Ensure accuracy in product labeling, quality checks, and inventory management. ▪ Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, customers, and management. ▪ Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a clean, orderly working environment. ▪ Commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations. ▪ Ability to work effectively with colleagues and support new recruits ▪ Ability to work under pressure. ▪ Prepared to work on Saturdays as well as odd hours We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all team members.
