About the Opportunity: Chelsea Piers seeks positive and motivated coaches to work in our Ninja and Parkour departments. Candidates should enjoy working with children of all ages and have experience teaching ninja programs, parkour, and/or gymnastics to children between the ages of 1 - 16 years: Responsibilities: Lead engaging ninja/parkour classes focused on skill development, strength, and agility Enthusiastically engage with children to create a fun and positive learning environment Ensure a safe environment by enforcing rules and properly using equipment Teach and progress skills such as obstacle navigation, vaults, climbing, and coordination Create and/or follow lesson plans aligned with program curriculum Adapt instruction for different ages and skill levels Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, participants, and parents Set up, maintain, and break down equipment Take attendance and follow all company policies and procedures Support camps, events, and overall program operations Work collaboratively with a team while maintaining a positive, professional attitude The job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
