Company Driver Posting Details: ARROW12345 Positions Available: 5 Job Description The job is to drive a Class 1 tractor, which will be linked to 2 trailers, with a maximum of 9-axles to transport various mining products from mine sites Responsibilities The position will be responsible for driving Class 1 trucks, with a Lead and Pup trailer from various load locations and unloading. Key responsibilities include: - Ability to Tarp Loads - Safety awareness - Transportation of Dangerous Goods - Operating On-board computer to capture information about each trip - Maintaining full documentation - Meeting transportation regulations, including Driver Logs - Performing Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections and reporting defects in an accurate manner - Meeting customer mine site and unload location safety and operating requirements - etc… Routes Routes will include transportation from various Mining locations to unload locations at the coast. The job may involve additional routes within the interior and lower mainland. Pay & Benefits Shifts will be 12-hours, and cover from 06:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Saturday. There may be additional requirement to operate on Sundays. Pay scale is $nn.nn per hour worked. Other Information This job is a unionized position, where seniority applies.
