We are seeking a Manager in our Data & Analytics team to join our Technology & Experience Practice and lead enterprise client projects through the full lifecycle – from strategy, concept, and architecture, through to delivery and implementation. We are looking for a passionate technologist with keen business acumen and experience managing diverse teams in the successful planning, design, and deployment of data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client projects and manage consulting teams in the delivery of data solutions with the goal of improving technical operations and business performance
- Interface directly with client personnel and executive stakeholders to understand business objectives and set project objectives
- Make key engagement decisions, including budgeting, risk management, resource management, vendor selection, workstream delegation, and project methodology
- Act as client point of contact and present updates on deliverables, communicate engagement status, and ensure projects align with their transformation and business goals
- Contribute to practice development; mentor junior consultants on project management best practices, stay abreast of industry trends, and develop reusable methodology
- Assist with or lead statement of work (SOW) and business development efforts and identify change orders
- Organize project work into client presentations, outlining findings and recommendations for C-level executives.
- Contribute to practice development by developing and improving reusable methodologies and data solutions for client engagements.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics in a professional services/consulting firm
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modelling, ETL processes, data governance, data quality, privacy and security controls
- Experience leading projects related to data migration and data integrations leveraging Databricks, Snowflake, Azure/AWS
- Strong communication and project leadership skills with comfortability managing cross-functional teams in dynamic, enterprise IT environments
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for business leadership
- Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50%
