Position Overview
As an Investment Banking Instructor , you will have the unique opportunity to teach, mentor, and inspire some of the brightest minds and future leaders in finance. In this role, you will:
• Serve as a lead facilitator for investment banking and financial modeling classroom training sessions
• Help students and professionals master the technical and analytical skills required to succeed in investment banking
• Enhance your presentation and public speaking skills, expand your professional network, and establish yourself as a thought leader in the financial services industry
The ideal candidate has deep investment banking experience paired with a passion for teaching and knowledge-sharing.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver live in-person and virtual training seminars to corporate, undergraduate, and MBA clients, including:
• Investment banks and corporate clients
• Top-tier business schools and professional development programs
• Collaborate on curriculum development, including:
• Editing and updating training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy
• Developing new course content tailored to client needs
• Provide personalized mentorship through one-on-one tutoring sessions
• Complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a structured professional development initiative for new instructors
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of investment banking experience at a bulge bracket or leading middle-market firm
Education:
• MBA from a top business school preferred but not required
Skills & Passion:
• Strong accounting, financial modeling, and Excel expertise
• Deep understanding of valuation, M&A, LBO modeling, and transaction processes
• A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring
