What will you be doing? 1. Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned team members; participate in hiring and performance management processes, including writing of performance reviews. Review and approve timesheets. 2. Execute schedules in areas of accountability to maximize customer service levels. 3. Direct workflow and assign work to Nott and temporary agency employees based on schedule and customer demand. 4. Oversee the product assembly process to ensure team members compliance to all process and quality procedures and standards. Provide input into the creation of procedures. 5. Manage temporary workforce including placing order with staffing agencies, and assessing performance and providing recommendations to operations manager for staffing levels. 6. Drive lean/workplace organization improvement activities and coach employees to sustain improvements. 7. Meet key metric objectives as assigned. 8. Drive team member engagement that supports a lean culture. 9. Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety. 10. Other duties as assigned. What will you need to be successful? • High school education; advanced education preferred • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment. • Effective leadership and coaching of direct employees. • Excellent written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated Lean execution • Strong detail orientation • Ability to handle multiple tasks • Self-directed • ERP/warehouse hardware/software knowledge.
