How this job will fit your life: Hours – 1st shift 10-hour days Days – 4 Day work week (Three Day Weekend!) Pay – Depending on Experience What you can expect each day: Coordinate the setup operations with the CNC Manager to ensure that the jobs are efficiently set up and operating Determine the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the tools needed Follow instructions on travelers and specifications Troubleshoot and correct problems with programs and/or machine setups Use lean and Six Sigma to optimize, improve productivity and reduce waste/improve yields Participate in corrective and preventive actions *The marginal functions of this position have not been included. Employee is required to perform any work-related duty assigned by management* What the position requires: Must be able to read and understand job orders, drawings/blueprints and other data and perform all the necessary calculations Experience with Fanuc controls, Haas Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills Able to follow written and verbal instructions Capable of meeting assigned deadlines Working knowledge of MRP processing Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings Understand standard operating procedures to modify, store, maintain and transfer programs to maintain inventory of completed programs Ability to train others in machine operation Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years machining experience At least 2 years Setup experience Relatable skills to this position: machine operator, blueprint reading, CNC Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
