Automotive Technician C (Intermediate)

Summary/Objective: The Automotive Technician C can diagnose and repair common vehicle issues like brake systems, exhausts systems, and suspension components. Maintains dealership records that are legible and accurate that reflect the work performed. Provides information and recommendations to clients regarding their vehicles. Performs the routine check-up and maintenance of vehicles. Communicate directly with service advisors if any additional services are needed. Identifies problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment and methods Tests the functionality of parts and systems Performs basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation. Diagnosing and fixing standard mechanical issues (e.g., brake jobs, battery replacements, minor engine repairs). Repairs and replaces brake pads, steering systems, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts. Performs routine maintenance and general mechanical work on vehicles. Help keep repair shop clean and organized. Keeps a professional appearance. Adheres to all company policy and procedures. Assists Level A and B technicians with more complex repairs.
