Education Specialist

Evaluates educational levels and needs of residents at the Correctional Treatment Facility. Assists in the administering of diagnostic testing for each resident. Develops Individual Education Plans for each resident to successfully pass GED tests or improve present academic skills. Teaches individually and in small and large groups. Designs lesson plans. • Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Education • Certifications: Valid Ohio teaching certificate (K-12) or Adult Basic Education certificate preferred.
