Position Summary: To achieve sales targets in the assigned territory selling existing and new products & developing the sales territory. Review and analyze data on the basis of which data driven decisions are made in the region. To lead, manage, develop, and coach the sales team in the region. What you’ll do: • Formulate and implement business plans and sales strategies. • Guide, lead and motivate team of sales representatives to achieve their business objectives. • Making appointments with and meeting new customers • Meeting sales targets • Execute daily sales promotion activities and projects in general trade channels • Manage sales performance in terms of sales volume, inventory, and payment • Establish good relationship with general trade customers • Explore new business opportunities and market intelligence • To assist the team members to solve day to day issues and challenges • To provide excellent after sales service and ensure excellent customer experience • Participates in trade exhibitions, meetings and training courses as and when needed. About you: • Insures that all Sales Associates meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes. • Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up. • Sets examples for Sales Associates in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. • Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Sales Associates to build motivation and selling skills. • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees. • 5-7 years of experience in sales. • Experience with Microsoft Excel. • Extensive experience in all aspects of Relationship Management. • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. • Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals. • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
