Level III Technician – Etch & FPI

The Etch & FPI Level III Technician serves as the technical authority for chemical etching (including pre-penetrant etch, nital/temper etch, and related processes) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/PT) within MISTRAS Group’s Aerospace Division. This role ensures compliance with aerospace customer specifications, NADCAP, NAS 410, AS9100, ASTM E1417, and applicable OEM/prime requirements. The Level III develops and approves procedures and techniques, qualifies and certifies personnel, supports audits, provides technical leadership, and maintains process integrity for critical aerospace components (castings, forgings, machined parts, etc.).
