Job Title: OSHC Educator (Casual) Location: St Augustine's Parish School - Salisbury About St Augustine's Parish School: St Augustine’s Parish School is a vibrant and inclusive Catholic community in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Grounded in the values of respect, integrity, service, and excellence, we provide a nurturing learning environment for children from Reception to Year 6. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service plays a vital role in supporting families by offering a safe, engaging, and welcoming space for children beyond the school day. About the Role: We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our OSHC team on a casual basis. As an OSHC Educator, you will work under general supervision to help deliver high quality programs that support children’s wellbeing, learning, and development. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating OSHC and Vacation Care programs. • Support children’s inclusion, wellbeing, and daily routines, including personal care when required. • Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, school policies, and the National Quality Framework. • Maintain accurate records and contribute to general administrative tasks. • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional learning. About You: • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of St Augustine’s Parish School. • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with children, families, and staff. • Experience working with children, including those with additional needs (highly desirable). • Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions in varied situations. • Physical capacity to engage in active play and safely set up learning environments. • Understanding of professional boundaries, confidentiality, and child safe practices. Essential Requirements: • Certificate III in Children’s Services, Education Support, or a related discipline (or equivalent competencies). • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC). • Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) training. • Approved First Aid qualification (as per ACECQA requirements). • Ability to meet Work Health & Safety obligations.
