Soccer Instructor

Duties/Responsibilities: Soccer instructors provide a structured class teaching students in soccer skills and various other sports related to the sports department. Soccer instructors teach children ranging in age from 3 to 16 years old the basics of playing the sport. This includes dribbling, shooting goals, defending, and footwork. Soccer instructors coordinate the registration of participants. This position is not primarily a coaching position. However, basketball staff may be periodically asked to be a substitute coach when a volunteer coach is absent. All sports instructors assist in the success of all sports program duties such as fundraising, special events, and marketing. All sports instructors ensure the safety of all program participants.
