The Role We're looking for a Director of Investments & Strategy to lead high-impact transactions and help shape Renewa's investment strategy. This is a senior seat at the table; you'll own deals end to end, influence how we deploy capital, and serve as a strategic thought partner to firm leadership. What You'll Do Deal Origination & Execution Lead the full deal lifecycle from sourcing and structuring through due diligence, term negotiation, approvals, and close. Originate and execute land and structured investment transactions across target energy and infrastructure verticals. Contribute to a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities through proactive market engagement. Manage Analysts and Associates in transaction workflows. Financial Analysis & Modeling Oversee, build, and stress-test financial models for complex investment structures. Lead due diligence across technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory matters in partnership with internal and external subject matter experts, identifying key risks and mitigation strategies. Lead preparation of Investment Committee materials, portfolio reports, and Board-facing analyses with clarity and conviction. Strategy & Portfolio Management Contribute to firm-wide investment strategy, portfolio construction, and capital deployment thesis. Stay abreast of market trends and data to synthesize intelligence into insightful conclusions. Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify value creation and risk mitigation opportunities. Operate as a senior thought partner to firm leadership on strategy, market positioning, and investor relations. Relationships & Market Presence Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, IPPs, utilities, operators, and other key counterparties. Represent Renewa credibly across industry events, counterparty meetings, and capital markets conversations.
