Environmental Engineer III

Review engineering calculations, plans, and technical specifications for construction and/or installation of any new facility which discharges or would probably result in a discharge into groundwater, draft construction permits, and ensure that facilities are instituting best available technology standards. Conduct periodic inspections throughout construction of discharge facilities and draft approvals to use upon review of all construction quality assurance and quality control submissions. Develop and draft groundwater discharge permits and administer existing groundwater discharge permits. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including permittees, local health departments, local government, and industry. Use management systems to track and measure work progress.
