Luxury Senior Living Communities In Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead Is looking for Dining Room Manager for its Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community 11355 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173 CARF Accredited Rated #1 in the US of all communities surveyed by CARF, 2016 The #1 Priority of this position is… To assist the Director of Food Services in planning, organizing, directing, staffing, leading, controlling, coordinating the dining room, bar, training staff and inventory control. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Scheduling and supervising dining room waiters and waitresses. • Assist with orientation and training of new waiters and waitresses. • Maintain standards for safety, sanitation, storage of food supplies and banquet supplies. • Interact courteously and tactfully with managers, coworkers, customers, vendors, residents and resident family members. • Ability to promote and execute our culture of “Yes”. Qualifications • High school degree or equivalent (GED). • Experience in food service and in supervising dining room staff. • Ability to speak, read & write English with good comprehension. Spanish preferred. • Basic math skills required. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of the restaurant service; health, sanitation and safety requirements. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations • Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. • Strong Leadership skills. • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. • Demonstrate excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening. • Exhibit an enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people. #ZR
