Here’s what you can expect when you join our team: Competitive Salary : $56,000–$62,600 based on experience/education Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Retirement Planning : Colorado PERA retirement plan with optional 401K for long-term savings Time Off : 7 paid personal days annually to recharge and maintain work-life balance Work-Life Balance : Victory Preparatory Academy operates on a 4-day student week (Mondays reserved for planning and enrichment) Professional Development : Continuous learning opportunities to grow as a Learning Specialist Your Day-to-Day As a Learning Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to: Manage a Small Caseload : Work with students who have mild to moderate needs, providing direct and indirect instruction aligned to each student’s IEP goals Adapt General Education Content : Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive, accessible learning for all students, making modifications as needed Collaborate with a Support Team : Work closely with other specialists including psychologists, OT, PT, speech therapists, and service providers to align supports and interventions for students with disabilities Lead the IEP Process : Write IEP plans, track student progress, and facilitate family meetings to ensure strong communication and collaboration Ensure Compliance : Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Colorado special education laws (C.R.S. § 22-20-103) and federal regulations (IDEA) Serve as a Resource for Staff : Provide technical support for staff regarding IEP strategies, accommodations, and modifications Who You Are We’re looking for someone who: Believes in Student Growth : You are dedicated to providing the right support and high expectations for all students Thrives in Collaborative Environments : You value teamwork and enjoy working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of all students Is Detail-Oriented : You are passionate about documentation, compliance, and using student data to drive instruction Communicates with Empathy : You maintain professionalism and compassion when working with families and staff

Salary : $56,000–$62,600
