Financial & Planning Analyst (62727)

Job Summary: The Financial & Planning Analyst supports the casino’s strategic and financial goals by preparing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and performance analyses. This role provides management with critical insights into revenue, expenses, labor, and capital projects to ensure sound decisionmaking. The analyst works closely with department leaders, finance, and executive management to monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance profitability and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation, review, and monitoring of annual operating and capital budgets. • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenues, expenses, labor, and departmental performance. • Analyze casino revenue streams (gaming and non-gaming) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Provide variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year results, explaining key drivers. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports for management review. • Support long-term strategic planning initiatives, including market analysis and financial projections. • Partner with department leaders to evaluate financial performance and recommend costsaving or revenue-enhancing strategies. • Assist in preparing presentations for executive leadership and regulatory agencies. • Monitor and report on capital project spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and company financial policies. • Participate in special projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned
