BIM Structural Modeler

A BIM modeler uses building information modeling software to create a three-dimensional visual plan for a project. used to aid decision-making during the building process. BIM modelers work closely with architects and structural engineers. The BIM modeler must be able to understand not only how a building fits together but how a building can be modelled accurately in a BIM environment expert having a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role provides a base level to progress to multiple career paths.
