About the role

Buckland is looking for a Talent Acquisition Assistant What you’ll be doing This position is responsible for assisting Talent Acquisition and Human Resources with managing day to day tasks with an emphasis in managing warehouse employees such as temp/contract and regular employees with scheduling interviews, onboarding, and maintenance of records. What we can offer you • Competitive salary, benefits package, and matching retirement plan • A friendly, collaborative work environment • Opportunities for professional development & ongoing learning • A chance to be part of a growing organization You will be responsible for ◦ Maintain qualified candidate pipelines across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico to support timely hiring for all lines of business. ◦ Build recruitment dashboards and reports to provide visibility into talent pipeline activity and placement outcomes. ◦ Work alongside Manager attending forecast meetings and creating detailed plans of action for how to acquire required talent based on business needs. ◦ Build relationship and partner with local College/Universities to create pool of qualified candidates. ◦ Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, employment legislation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) best practices. ◦ Use MS Platforms such as MS Office, HRIS/ATS, Linked in, Indeed and other platforms. ◦ Support TA as needed with various tasks such as job posting, offers, references, career fairs. ◦ Other duties as assigned. What we need from you ◦ University degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required. ◦ Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an administration role. ◦ Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is essential. ◦ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and web-based systems ◦ Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ◦ Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills ◦ Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is considered an asset. ◦ Strong with building relationships, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring managers
