SECURITY OFFICER

The Security Officer will be responsible for the safety and security of our guest and in supporting the Security department. Job Requirements: Assist with activities regarding guest and team member safety, gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Help enforce local, state, and federal regulations and aid when needed. Write incident reports, ensuring accurate handling of information according to company standards. Perform guest identification checks to ensure proper age of guests playing or drinking at the casino. Provide comfort and initiate medical response to ill or injured persons within company guidelines. Stay informed of the company’s safety and emergency action procedures. Dispatch security personnel and or outside emergency services as required. Complete all Security department paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Immediately report unsafe conditions and employee or guest accidents to a supervisor or Security. Assist guest and team members with their lost and found items. Be able to understand and interpret rules and procedures. Conduct arrests, investigations, inspections, interviews, and other duties as required throughout the casino environment. Provide daily protection of company assets. Ability to think creatively and work with supervisors, peers, and other subordinates on a team approach to solve problems which cross departmental boundaries. Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. Other duties as assigned.
