Role Overview We are seeking a talented Video Producer who can excel in the combined roles of Journaling, Video Creation, and Quality Specialist. In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for sourcing and documenting articles, transforming them into compelling video content, and ensuring the final products meet our rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong journalistic instincts, exceptional video production skills, and meticulous attention to detail. What Youʼll Do Journaling Research and identify articles that can be adapted into engaging video content Document key details: source, topic, tone, audience, and visuals Assist in maintaining a well-organized article tracker Collaborate with writers and content leads to shortlist relevant topics Video Creation Support in drafting storyboards or simple scripts based on articles Assist in editing videos using available tools and templates Help source visual elements (stock footage, images, icons, etc.) Work with other interns and team leads to ensure timely delivery Quality Review Conduct basic reviews of videos for accuracy, clarity, and consistency Check alignment of visuals and captions, and ensure compliance with brand tone Flag issues and suggest simple revisions for quality improvement What Weʼre Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Engineering, or related fields Strong interest in storytelling, or video production Basic experience with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, ClipChamp, or similar) Good communication skills and attention to detail Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn Bonus Points If You Have Experience in content writing, social media, video creation, etc. Understanding of video formats for social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, etc.) Familiarity with motion graphics or animation basicsAwareness of copyright and media licensing basics What Youʼll Gain Hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative production environment Mentorship from experienced editors and producers Opportunity to build a portfolio of video work Exposure to AI-driven video workflows and industry tools Potential pathway to a full-time role based on performance Ideal For Candidates Interested In: Photography and digital storytelling Creating content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok Exploring careers as a content creator, video editor, or social media producer
