HVAC Commercial Service Technician (3050)

Summary The 1st Line Service Technician position is responsible for customer satisfaction after the point of sale. This will include support with startups, assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc. for MJC products. Provide guidance to customers on product warranty. This will involve approving contractor repairs and assistance with sourcing replacement parts. Job Responsibilities and Duties Troubleshoot unit issues and assist with in-field start-up via phone. Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and responding to special requests. Document information on issues in support software. Give input to New Product Development Teams on serviceability. Disposition warranty claims and ID parts required for service. Work with Parts Department/Purchasing to order replacement parts. Travel to customer sites when necessary. (up to 40%, weekends when necessary) Conduct extensive self-study to maintain technical proficiency. Work with all levels of the company including Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Leadership.
